Southern Boiled PeanutsSoak – Wash and place in-shell peanuts in large pot. Submerge in brine – (10 oz Salt for each gallon of water) – Use about twice as much water as peanuts. Place a weighted plate on peanuts to keep them submerged. Soak overnight. Cook – Remove weighted plate. Add water as needed to cover peanuts. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 4 hours. Test for taste & texture. Add to cooking time in 15 minute increments for softer peanuts. To increase salt flavor, allow to remain in brine. Enjoy – Drain & enjoy.

HONEY ROASTED PEANUTS
Instructions: Preheat oven 350 degrees. Place peanuts in Medium bowl. Put honey & butter in small mixing bowl & heat in microwave until butter has melted. Pour over peanut & mix well. Spread peanuts onto cookie sheet & place in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Stir them every 1-2 minutes until they are golden brown. Let stand for 5-10 minute until cool.

Cajun Peanuts
Directions: . Place peanuts in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with dry crab boil. Cover with water. Stir in sliced jalapeno peppers and their liquid. Cover the slow cooker, and cook the peanuts on low 8 hours, or overnight, until peanuts float to the top of the water.
